High school can be a challenging experience. At the One Centre, young people have a place to study where they can access the support they need.
The One Centre, located in Blacktown, offers after-school support for young people in Years 6–12, including tutoring and computer access.
Our dedicated staff members aim to inspire students to achieve their educational goals and inform them of pathways into higher learning and employment. There’s a quiet, open space for study; a study area where students can work one-on-one or in groups with tutors; and a kitchen and eating area for those much needed study snacks.
At the One Centre, young people can be assisted by a tutor – and help each other – to deepen their understanding of subjects, complete their assignments and homework, and make sure they didn’t miss any valuable lessons.
- Monday 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm

The One Centre is supported by the Australian Catholic University (ACU), which offers workshops and programs that encourage students to enter higher education. Programs include Aspiration Days, HSC Enrichment Workshops, Parent Forums, Careers Web Quest, Uni Step-Up, the Principal’s Recommendation Program, Come to Dinner and ACU Smart – all focused on helping young people reach their potential.
