Becoming a carer is a significant decision that has the potential to change both your life and the life of a young person for the better. Marist180 does not take this opportunity lightly. We strive to match every young person entrusted to us with the right carer(s).
If you are over 25 years of age, have patience, time and care to offer a child or young person, then you should contact Marist180 to learn more about some of the young people whose lives you can change for the better. We will also discuss important details like the criteria for being a carer, your allowance entitlements, the supports we offer and steps involved in becoming a carer.
Our foster carers are everyday people like you. They are young couples, same sex couples, single people, have children of their own or are retired. Becoming a foster carer can be a very rewarding journey for you and your family. By providing a stable, caring family environment for a child or young person you can make a very positive difference to a child.
